Fantastic Product An amazing product that increased the quality of my prints straight out of the box. With less heat required running costs are also lower. Looking forward to trying some other products like the PETG. Ashley Tyler
Great Filament So far I'm amazed how great it prints. It's cheapest filament on the market (you'll get a perfect result at first print.... No time or money wasted) Sasha Djordjevic
Great PLA I am now on my second spool of Rigid Ink, and the reason is that the filament is of superb quality. I produce models with a great deal of surface detail. In the past I have used lesser quality filament with very poor results; as a consequence I have thrown away large numbers of products, wasting time and money. Rigid Ink filament gives me the quality of definition along with inherent strength. I won't use any one else's filament. John Jones
There are a lot problems with 3D printing already
Don't let your filament be one of them
Here's why you need to try rigid.ink:
Here's what else they say:
Works great but since you re not making it anymore i dont see the point in this review.
Im more wondering where to get an adequate replacement.
Enjoyed trying out the PETG test pack, made tags with filament type and color name for future reference.
I love your filament, I always have beautiful prints. I'm really sad to hear that the rigid ink club is ending. I was always so excited to see what I get every month. It's like a birthday present every month. I hope y'all restart the program in the future. I will be checking to se if you do. Thanks for all the surprises.
Unknowing of the impending end of rigid.ink filament sales, I bought another spool of natural colour flexible PLA to complement the black one I already have. It seems what I received will be one of the very last spools of this wonderful filament ever :(
This has turned out one of my most favourite materials because it is easy to print with, and produces parts that can be both tough and flexible depending on how they were printed. With this filament it really is possible to print things that are nearly impossible to make without a 3D printer. I wear a smartwatch every day with a strap printed out of this stuff. I hope I'll be able to find something equivalent when these spools are used up.
I am fairly new to the world of 3D printing and have been having a lot of trouble with cheap filament from amazon. I decided to give rigid ink a try and I can say the results were astounding, no endless hours of tweaking settings and failed prints. Just setup with the recommended temperatures and away you go, amazing results, no hassle :)
After trying several ASA whites which were all milky in colour I came across this one, very pleased that it was more of a pure white than the other 4 that I tried, very smooth with great layer adhesion with this filament, incredibly strong, it’s now the filament that I use most, I print at 255 first layer with 105 bed and 250 print with 95 bed and have had no issues at all
I finally got around to using the 10m sample of this Flexi PLA on my Hictop 3D printer.
Before starting I gave the nozzle a run through with my Rigid Ink cleaning filament, just to make sure the black PLA was flushed out before using my nice yellow Flexi PLA filament.
I read the information on the Rigid Ink website and set the nozzle temperature to 240 deg, the bed to 40 deg and print speed to 15mm/s, then hit start printing.
Worked first time, No problems at all, the bed adhesion was great (I use a very thin wash of watered down PVA glue on my otherwise untreated aluminium bed. Only needs redoing after around 10 prints), and there was very little tendency to string.
When finished, the part looks good and is very flexible. The part is a holder for a pet grooming brush and it needs to stretch slightly to allow the brush's handle to slip between the grips easily, which I'm glad to say it does.
I'll be buying a roll of this stuff to print a few more flexible things with. Really like it.
Perfect for storing reels etc.
Great service as per usual, I e-mailed them before purchasing a testing pack of ASA colours to see if they would swap out one of the colours for a colour that I didn't have which wasn't part of the pack. Got a quick response and they were willing to help. Made a note of it during the order process and they delivered as promise.
another rigid ink product which has not let me down
Amazing, the colours on this filament when it hits the light are brilliant. Follow the instructions that rigid.ink give and you can not go wrong. Highly recommend.
The filament performed very well with a 0.6mm nozzle. I did have to raised the bed and nozzle temperatures a bit. One slight comment regarding the packing of the Master Spool coil. Normal zip ties were used rather than re-usable ones. Much better to provide re-usable ones so people can can swap Master Spool coils with out having to print multiple Master Spool spools.
I would buy again.
I tried the samples with with a healthy dose of scepticism but found i was happy to find the samples lived up to the claims and will now be my first choice
just had a new Flashforge Creator Pro (2018), so thought why not try a flexible PLA for making a couple of jewelry items turned out pretty damn well especially when you follow Rigid ink's guide , so much so i've just re-ordered some more 10m samples , well done keep up with the excellent products
Does exactly as advertised.
I've ordered samples of this filament to check it's printability.
After drying it, which is REALLY important, I printed a technical part for engineering application and I was stunned how great it result on the first attempt. I had just tuned the retraction settings in my case.
Glue stick and skirt done the job perfectly for bed adhesion.
You can feel that this filament really can produce parts for real hard job applications!
Wow!!! Great filament and brilliant prints. Great colour. I am going over to PETG for most of my prints needing solid structure and heat resistance. Recommended.
Great filament and perfect prints on my Prusa Mk3S. Great colour. Recommended.
Perfect prints on my Prusa printer. The colour is good and consistent. I am trying smaller 300g spools to get more colours. Recommended.
Excellent way to experiment with new materials! I’m very pleased with the product!!
This worked well on my Anycubic MegaS
Rigid.ink has a bunch of fancy marketing, which I was skeptical about at first. However, it seems they're genuine and their products certainly are EXCELLENT. The PLA prints like a dream. Even layer lines seem to fade away somewhat, with no apparent loss of detail. The nylon sample I received is by FAR the best I've ever used. (It did benefit from drying prior to printing, as nylon always does in our climate here.) Seems just as tough and "nylony" as anything else out there, yet it printed sooooo much better than others I have tried to date. No idea how they pulled that off, but I'll take it. Alas ... I live on the other side of the planet, making shipping for full reels untenable, for single consumer quantities. Damned shame. I will be getting a reel of nylon though, as it's just so freakin good. Keep up the good work guys!
5 x Samples (Mixed Materials & Colours)
Hey guys, my first batch of filaments came through really quick. I got some green PLA, Grey ABS and some natural (clear) PLA. So Far The Green has gone, So easy to use great quality stuff. Still Deciding on what to make with the rest of them :) I printed the tree Frog from Thingiverse in Green and it looked amazing. Unfortunately I was unable to take pictures to post. And of course Thank you for the main event ( tangfastics) !!. Can't wait to see what is in the package next month.
My printer printed a Superman badge and a butterfly perfectly, filament worked a treat. For some reason it now won’t print files from the micro sd card, says no files even though they show as g.code on computer, any suggestions welcome
Fast delivery and high quality plastics.
Arrived very well packaged. Good quality filament. Will enjoy using it
Love the sample pack made me try some new materials, quality is great as always, Rigid Ink products all seem to work perfectly for me, great stuff.
Printed brilliantly no issue
