This was my first Rigid.Ink foray and I thought trying out the box club would provide the best way to experience a few of their filaments. In that regard yes it was decent. However, being in the US it took almost 2 weeks to arrive. The quality of the filament is good but so far no better than the stuff I already purchase that arrives within one or two days for similar price or just a little bit less. My last comment is regarding the Club and the choices provided. This month was included grey, white, neutral, translucent green, and pink. Really? To me a filament box is a chance to show something unique. Three out of five choices are things I would guess most of us have full rolls of, I know several people with natural and greys busting out at the seams. The pink is fun and I will use it, but the translucent green is the only real stand out here in terms of trying something new. Maybe this is just an off month for the club, but as my first time with it, I've got to say it was rather disappointing. My kids did enjoy the Haribo though, so there is that.
Hi Chris,
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
I am sorry to hear your rigid.ink club box took so long to arrive. We do use a prioirty airmail which usually take 5-7 working days at most. However, it can depend on customs and the postal service in your area.
The colours chosen for the boxes are set every month so depending on when you join, you get enetered into whichever colours are being dispatched that month. We do try to keep a mix of neutral and brighter colours so not all the exciting ones go into one box.
The colours are a personal preference as some people love to work in neutrals whereas others prefer the brighter shades.
We currently have 25 colours to work with, and do try to make sure the exact colours are not in the a box together again - so this should be the only time you get this particular selection.
Hopefully you will favour next month's colours so do let us know what you think when it arrives.
All the best,
Steph Hill
